Indictments have been served on former Minister of Investment Promotion Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena over bribery charges.
Following the serving of indictments by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption before the Colombo High Court, the accused, Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena, was released on bail.
