COLOMBO (LankaTruth) – The Fort Magistrate’s Court today (24) issued an arrest warrant against Jaffna District Member of Parliament Ramanathan Archchuna for failing to appear before the court.
The warrant was issued in connection with an ongoing court case filed against MP Archchuna over allegations of obstructing Fort Police officers from performing their duties.
When the case was called today, neither MP Archchuna nor his guarantors (bailsmen) were present in court.
Consequently, the Magistrate’s Court ordered law enforcement to arrest MP Ramanathan Archchuna and produce him before the court.
