After the swearing-in ceremony held yesterday (23), the new President, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, visited the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy and engaged in religious rites, and later received the blessings of Mahanayaka Theros, Islam, Hindu religious leaders and Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith in the evening.
