The government has decided to dissolve the multi-purpose development task force department, which started by adding a workforce of thirty-eight thousand to provide a solution to the employment problem.
This department was started on December 19, 2020 targeting a workforce of one hundred thousand. The group with minimum educational qualifications was selected and given formal vocational training, they were recruited to fulfill the service requirements of primary category vacancies in government and semi-government institutions.
It was decided to hire 3,000 people to the Railway Department based on the vacancies in the ministries. Interviews have already started to direct the rest of the people to the vacancies in the provincial councils under the positions of watchman and labourer. Sources of the department say that due to the dissolution of the department, there is a risk of losing jobs to thousands of its top officials to the lowest employees.
