Reports say that a man who had been waiting for hours in a queue at a petrol station on Yatinuwara Street in Kandy has died.
The deceased has been identified as a 71-year-old resident of Wattegama, Udathalawinna.
He had been waiting for hours from this morning until around 4.00 pm to buy kerosene at the filling station on Yatinuwara Street in Kandy.
He suddenly fainted and died on the way to the hospital.
