It is reported that the Ceylon Electricity Board is planning to propose to the government to increase the electricity tariff.
The Electricity Board points out that the electricity tariff has not been increased for about 08 years and during the last amendment made in 2014 the electricity tariff was reduced by 25% from the existing tariff.
