The Colombo Magistrate’s Court orders members of the medical board to appear in court on October 06 regarding the health status and ongoing medical care of former State Intelligence Service Director Suresh Sallay.
Colombo Magistrate Pasan Amarasena has issued notices to ten doctors of the medical board who prepared and submitted a report on former State Intelligence Service (SIS) Director Suresh Sallay, directing them to appear before the court on October 06.
The Magistrate issued this order after considering facts presented by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) through a motion.
The court was informed that the medical board had previously recommended that Suresh Sallay remain admitted at the National Hospital until September 28. Since that period has expired, notices were issued to the doctors to clarify before the court the next steps regarding his health and medical condition.
