When President Gotabaya Rajapaksa addressed the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Sri Lankans protested outside the assembly, chanting slogans such as “Conspirators are free – Sri Lanka is in danger” and “We want justice”.
The protesters demanded that the conspirators, especially those involved in the Easter Sunday attack, are still at large and that justice be done to the Easter Sunday attack immediately.
