Minister of State for Samurdhi, Home Economics, Micro Finance, Self Employment and Business Development Shehan Semasinghe states that MP Wijedasa Rajapaksa does not understand about Port City.
The Minister of State stated this at a media briefing held yesterday (16).
“I am sorry that an educated parliamentarian like Wijedasa Rajapaksa is expressing these views without understanding the new concept of the financial city. What matters here is not urban development but the formulation of the legal framework required to function as a financial operations city. We have laid the necessary foundation for that in Parliament,” Minister of State Shehan Semasinghe stated.
