Police arrest Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero who was hiding in an aranya senasanaya in Kalutara to evade arrest warrants.
Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero, who served as the General Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) organization and had been evading court orders under an active arrest warrant, has been taken into police custody.
It is further reported that the monk was arrested while hiding in an aranya senasanaya (forest monastery) belonging to Ven. Theeniyawala Palitha Thero in the Kalutara area.
