Kiriella’s daughter reveals her ignorance at the very beginning

It was revealed at the Parliament today (03) that the daughter of Lakshman Kiriella, who was elected to Parliament from the Samagi Jana Balawegaya Alliance, did not know or knowingly distorted the facts.
She said in Parliament that the JVP voted against the agreement signed with the International Monetary Fund by the Pohottu government under President Ranil Wikramasingha.

The JVP was not represented in the last Parliament, but three National People’s Power members were elected. In spite of this, social media activists say Mr Kiriella’s daughter making her maiden speech in Parliament, saying that the JVP opposed the agreement, could be an attempt to distort facts more than a mistake.
