Three Including Kanjipani Imran’s Key Associate ‘Ratmalane Saima’ Arrested in Malaysia

In a major breakthrough against organized crime, three individuals, including a primary associate of notorious drug lord and organized crime leader Kanjipani Imran, have been arrested in Malaysia.

The main suspect, identified as drug trafficker “Ratmalane Saima,” was apprehended alongside two others during a special operation conducted by Malaysian security forces in collaboration with intelligence services.

Kanjipani Imran, who operates a major drug smuggling and organized crime network targeting Sri Lanka from overseas, is already the subject of a Red Notice issued by Interpol.

Security agencies revealed that after fleeing the country in 2022 while on bail, Imran has been actively directing illegal drug distribution and underworld crime operations across Sri Lanka through his international network.

Intelligence agencies have intensified targeted operations against key associates and distributors operating within Imran’s international network.
