It has been reported that the Chinese research ship Yuan Wang 5, which has caused controversy due to the wobbly diplomatic actions of the rulers of this country, will arrive at the port of Hambantota tomorrow (11th) as scheduled.
The president or the prime minister has refrained from making any statement about the ship’s arrival at Hambantota port which has arrived in Indonesia. Meanwhile, according to the media reports, the Indian leaders have intensified the opposition related to the ship by carrying out an extensive campaign in that country.
Analysts confirm that according to international rules and regulations, such research ships cannot be diverted and that the Yuan Wang 5 ship made relevant official notifications and obtained permission last June.
