Former cricketer Roshan Mahanama has resigned from the Cricket Technical Advisory Committee.
It is reported that he has resigned due to personal reasons.
Former batsman Aravinda de Silva has been appointed as the chairman of the Cricket Technical Committee. Roshan Mahanama, Muttiah Muralitharan and Kumar Sangakkara were appointed as the other members of the committee.
The primary function of this committee was to advise the Minister of Sports, Ministry officials and the National Sports Council on all matters relating to cricket in Sri Lanka.
