It is expected to divide the land into four parts and measure them. Meanwhile, it has been revealed that 61 out of the 85 oil tanks installed in the lower part of the Chinese port are being prepared to be handed over to the Indian IOC as a joint venture with Ceypetco.
Kumuduni Ariyaratne, Legal Officer of the Petroleum Corporation, has been appointed as the Competent Information Officer. It is further revealed that these agreements are being prepared to be signed soon and are based on a cabinet memorandum submitted by former Petroleum Minister Arjuna Ranatunga.
It has been revealed that the agreement is to be signed with India, in the same manner, the agreement to hand over Yugadanavi power plant to the American New Fortress Company was signed at midnight.
