Pradeshiya Sabha member arrested for stealing electricity

Sudath Gaminidasa, a Member of the Sri Lanka People’s Front for the Pradeshiya Sabha, has been arrested by a team of officers from the Electricity Board’s raid unit.
He is accused of changing the electricity meter of the house and obtaining electricity fraudulently.
The arrested Pradeshiya Sabha member has been handed over to the Horana Police Station.
He will be produced before the Horana Magistrate’s Court today, police said.
