Retailers say the price of sugar and dhal in the local market has risen sharply in a week.
The wholesale price of a kilo of dhal was Rs. 155 last week, and it has risen to Rs. 170 this week. In this situation, they should sell a kilo of dhal at Rs. 220 say, retailers.
They say the wholesale price of sugar has risen from Rs. 125 per kilo last week to Rs. 142 this week. As such the retail price of a kilo of sugar has to be increased to 155 rupees say, retailers.
