It is reported that the JVP yesterday (7th) donated a stock of mattresses to corona patients at the Ragama Teaching Hospital at a time when the corona virus is heading towards a catastrophe and the capacity of all hospitals surpasses their limits.
The mattresses were donated to the Director of the Ragama Teaching Hospital, Dr. Sampath Ranaweera. Former JVP MPs Sunil Handunnetti, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa and former Provincial Councilor Mahinda Jayasinghe were present at the occasion.
