The General Secretary of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna Tilvin Silva says that the idiotic government cannot comprehend the situation in the country two days before they occur.
Mr Tilvin Silva expressed these views at a media briefing convened today (6th) by the JVP to protest against the repressive actions taken by the government targeting those who had joined the protests against the government in the last few days.
Speaking further, the General Secretary of the JVP said, “On the first day, a circular was issued calling on all public servants to come to work from Monday. It was cancelled again yesterday (5th), and pregnant mothers are told not to come. It is said that public servants will be asked to work in two stages. These changes are made within three days. Didn’t they remember to do that before? It is an idiotic government with no vision, no meaning, no sanity. There are stupid ministers. It is a government that does not understand what decision it makes and how it affects. When Gotabaya Rajapaksa came, the people of our country thought that he would have the rule of law, discipline and foresight to make decisions. Now they know that they cannot even see beyond their feet,” he said.
