The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CASL) says that due to the prevailing Kovid-19 risk, passengers from six other countries will be suspended from July 1 to July 13.
The CASL states that the ban was imposed on passengers arriving from Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman.
In addition, travelers from Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe will be barred from entering the country from yesterday (28) until July 31.
The airlines have also been instructed to refrain from bringing passengers from those countries to Sri Lanka during that period.
