We get step-motherly treatment say government backbenchers

It is reported that a group of backbenchers of the government have met several senior government ministers recently and stated that they are being ignored in the development activities of the government and that some ministers do not even take measures to make them aware of the development projects being carried out in relevant districts.
It is also reported that the senior ministers have promised them that they will get the opportunity to present their grievances to the President and the Prime Minister.
Meanwhile, it is learned that backbenchers have told government seniors that they, as government partners, are not aware of certain decisions taken by the government.
