The government has decided to close all schools, pre-schools and pirivenas in the Western and North-Western Provinces until the 30th of this month.
Earlier it was decided to reopen Schools Island wide from today (27th) as per the health guidelines. Accordingly, the Ministry of Education states that from today onwards, the educational activities of schools in other parts of the country will be carried out in accordance with the health guidelines.
The Ministry of Education says that a decision will be taken this weekend regarding the reopening of schools in these provinces.
