The highest number of covid infections reported in Sri Lanka was reported yesterday (27th) and the number of infected was 997, according to the Ministry of Health.
On February 9, 976 people were identified as the highest number of cases reported in the country.
The total number of covid infections found in the country so far is 102376 with the number of infected persons identified yesterday. Out of this 94577 infected persons have been cured and discharged from hospitals.
The Ministry of Health states that 7152 infected patients are still being treated at the hospital.
