The Supreme Court has decided to adjourn until tomorrow (20th) hearing petitions challenging the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Bill, which commenced today (19th).
The petitions filed by the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna, IT Professionals Association, Samagi Jana Balawegaya, United National Party, Center for Policy Alternatives and several others were
heard before a five-judge bench of the Supreme Court consisting of Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya, Justices Buwaneka Aluvihare, Priyantha Jayawardena, Murdu Fernando and Janak de Silva.
