Despite facing a significant shortage of human resources, the Attorney General’s Department concluded work on 5,245 case files during the year 2025, according to the 2025 Annual Performance Report released by the Ministry of Justice.
According to the report, the concluded files include 530 cases in the Civil Branch, 07 cases in the State Counsel Branch, 1,813 cases in the Criminal Division, 60 cases in the Supreme Court, and 474 cases in the Business Division.
The report further highlights that 1,326 case files were concluded by the Child Abuse Unit, along with 1,035 files by the Public Petitions Unit in 2025.
