The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today (30) ordered that Sugeeshwara Bandara, who served as Private Secretary to former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, be further remanded over allegations of misappropriating more than Rs. 220 million by drawing dual salaries from two government posts.
Accordingly, the suspect Sugeeshwara Bandara has been remanded until August 12.
