One unit of the Norochchole Coal Power Plant malfunctioned again early morning yesterday (8th).
This unit adds a capacity of 270 MW to the national power system.
Meanwhile, another unit of the three power generation units of the Norochchole coal plant was temporarily disabled in June due to maintenance work.
Accordingly, only one unit is operating in the Norochchole coal plant. The capacity added to the national power grid from that unit is 300 MW.
