Secretary to the President PB Jayasundara has resigned from the post.
President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has accepted the resignation letter PB Jayasundara has submitted.
It has been decided to appoint the Secretary to the Prime Minister Gamini Senarath to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of PB Jayasundara.
According to sources Anura Dissanayake, the Secretary to the Ministry of Irrigation, is to be appointed for the post of the Secretary to the Prime Minister.
