The President’s Media Division (PMD) has issued a statement firmly rejecting media reports claiming that unauthorized outsiders were accommodated at official Presidential Residences, calling the assertions completely false.
Clarifying recent news reports alleging that 3,089 individuals stayed at various Presidential Residences across the country in 2025, the PMD stated that no outside individuals were hosted in the residential quarters.
According to the PMD, personnel from security forces, media teams, and other relevant departments were provided accommodation in secondary administrative buildings within the residence precincts solely for official duties on various occasions throughout 2025.
The statement reiterated that none of these officers or personnel were accommodated inside the main Presidential Residences.
