COLOMBO (LankaTruth) – The Colombo Fort – Talaimannar train service, which was suspended due to the impacts of Cyclone Ditwah, has resumed operations starting today (24).
Accordingly, the train scheduled to depart from the Colombo Fort Railway Station at 3:50 PM today will run up to Talaimannar.
Furthermore, the train departing from the Talaimannar Railway Station at 4:10 AM tomorrow (25) is scheduled to make its return journey back to Colombo Fort.
This train service has been reinstated particularly to facilitate devotees traveling for the annual feast of the Shrine of Our Lady of Madhu, which is set to take place on August 15.
