Cabinet Media Spokesperson Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa says it will be possible to announce the dates for the local government elections at the end of January.
The minister said while attending the cabinet press conference today (26) that nominations are expected to be called at the end of January, and the date for the election will be announced.
Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa further stated that the party leaders are expected to discuss the nominations and make a decision.
