The importers of essential food items met with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday(7).
The president of the Importers and Traders Association of Essential Foods, G. Ilamanathan, secretaries G. Rajendran, Abdul Aziz Alimohamed, and several members of the association participated.
The current market situation has been discussed in depth, and special attention has been paid to the main issues affecting food import and trade.
President’s Secretary Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake and several others, including Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma, also participated.
