Fuel prices down

Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has decided to revise the fuel price according to the monthly price formula, effective midnight yesterday (30).
Accordingly, the price of a litre of Octane 92 petrol has been reduced by Rs. 21. Its new price is Rs. 311. However, Ceylon Petroleum Corporation states that the price of a liter of Octane 95 petrol will not change.
According to the prices announced by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, the price of a litre of Lanka white diesel has been reduced by Rs.24, and its new price is Rs. 283. The price of a liter of Lanka Super Diesel has been reduced by Rs. 33, and its new price is Rs. 319. The price of a litre of Lanka kerosene has been reduced by Rs.19, and its new price is Rs.183.
In the meantime, the Lanka IOC Company also informed that its fuel prices would be lowered to the same as those of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
Similarly, Sinopec has also revised its fuel prices effective from midnight yesterday.
