Let’s meet again under a government that upholds the rights of the working people, says National Executive Member of National People’s Power K.D. Lalkantha.
He stated this while addressing the National Conference of Development Officers and Associated Service Officers held on the 30th at the Viharamahadevi Open Air Theater in Colombo.
Speaking further, Lalkantha said, “After September 21, we will hold a conference again under a new constitution under a working people’s government, under a government that affirms the rights of the working people. You and I fought a lot on the highway. We carried out a lot of agitation and strikes. We have a big battle on the 21st. We will struggle to win on that battlefield. Our victory on the battlefield on September 21 has been assured. Let’s work for that victory from now on. Let’s bring victory to the ‘compass’. Let’s win for the country. Then we all will be victorious.”
