Anura Dissanayake, the leader of the National People’s Power, who is running as a candidate for the presidential election to be held on September 21, was handed over the nomination a few moments ago.
The Secretary of the National People’s Power Dr. Nihal Abeysinghe, Attorney at Law Sunil Watagala and others attended the event.
The election commission announced that the acceptance of nominations for the presidential election ended, and 39 candidates have handed over their nomination papers.
