Complaints have been made to the Criminal Investigation Department after it was revealed that a website similar to the official website of the Election Commission of Sri Lanka was being maintained.
In this regard, the Computer Emergency Response Forum is conducting preliminary investigations, and the Criminal Investigation Department is also reportedly conducting investigations into the website’s background.
According to the information revealed, the fake website started after the presidential election was announced.
