He said this in an interview with Gemunu Vanninayake on a YouTube channel. He has emphasized that he is not very interested in politics. Still, the victory of Anura Kumara Dissanayake in this presidential election is the beginning of a new change expected by the people of this country.
He emphasized that although the Parliamentarians of the Podujana Peramuna went to Ranil Wickramasinghe, the voters are going differently and have rallied to change the country.
