During Anua Dissanayake’s visit to Jaffna in the morning today (11), at the Jaffna St. Mary’s Cathedral hall, he met the Vicar-General of the Jaffna Diocese. He discussed with a group of Catholic Fathers and nuns, including Father Jebaratnam and Reverend Jeyakumar, in charge of the Ilawalei Catholic Mission.
Executive member Ramalingam Chandrasekhar, executive member Bimal Ratnayake, Kelani University lecturers Vijith Rohan and Ajith Hadley Perera, Reverend Father Sarath Peiris, Brother Susil Hettiarachchi were present on this occasion.
They exchanged views on the country’s current economic and political situation and the problems faced by the people.
