The National People’s Power has decided to file a fundamental rights petition against the appointment of community advisory committees for local government areas. Accordingly, the petition is scheduled to be filed in the Supreme Court today (28) at 2:30 p.m.
National Executive Member of the National People’s Power, Attorney at Law Sunil Watagala, Colombo District Executive Member and former Municipal Councilor Asitha Niroshana will participate.
