Signs of a halt to surgeries in hospitals! Already limited to several hospitals

Dr Jayantha Bandara, the General Secretary of the All Ceylon Medical Officers Association, alleged that surgeries have already been limited in several hospitals, and there are signs that surgeries will stop in the future.
He pointed out that there was currently a shortage of anaesthetic gases used to anaesthetize patients before surgery in hospitals nationwide.
Dr Jayantha Bandara also revealed that surgeries at the Nuwara Eliya Hospital had been restricted for two days due to this reason.
He said this while addressing a press conference in Colombo yesterday (23rd).
