Basil Rajapaksa and Thiru Nadesan have been ordered to appear before the court on March 11 for the trial regarding the Malwana land in Gampaha, which was heard before the Gampaha High Court today (25th).
The High Court judge issued the order after Chartered Architect Muditha Jayakody gave evidence. The land was unoccupied, and it was revealed on the testimony of many witnesses, including astrologer Sumanadasa Abeygunawardena and architect Muditha Jayakody, that it was related to Basil Rajapaksa.
A perch of this land had been purchased in the name of Thiru Nadesan for as low as Rs. 11,500 / – and it has been established before the court that all the construction work of the huge mansion was done with the intervention of Basil Rajapaksa, Pushpa Rajapaksa and their daughter.
