Sri Lankan javelin thrower Rumesh Tharanga once again showcased elite performance on the international stage, executing an outstanding throw exceeding 92 meters at the Zurich Diamond League in Switzerland.
Tharanga achieved a distance of 92.07 meters during the event, coming close to his career-best mark of 96.2 meters set earlier this year in June. His impressive throw secured the top position in the event.
Former world champion Anderson Peters of Grenada finished in second place with a throw of 86.93 meters.
