As part of the government’s ongoing efforts to reduce unnecessary public spending, Energy Minister Eng. Kumara Jayakody has ordered the sale of several luxury vehicles owned by the Ministry of Energy.
The Ministry has now opened tenders for the sale, inviting bids for various types and models of high-end vehicles. Interested parties must submit separate applications for each vehicle, which can be obtained from the Ministry at No. 437, Galle Road, Colombo 03, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000.
Completed applications, along with a refundable security deposit of Rs. 50,000, must be submitted to the Ministry’s tender box by 10:00 a.m. on July 16.
