Veteran singer Ishaq Beg received a donation of Rs. 1 million from the President’s Fund to support his ongoing medical treatment. The donation was personally delivered this afternoon (29) by Dr. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi, Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, during a visit to the singer’s residence in Kolonnawa.
The minister, accompanied by a group of fellow artists, visited to check on Ishaq Beg’s health and express solidarity during his time of need. Among those present were actor and Ministry Coordinating Secretary Premaratne Tennakoon, renowned singer Somasiri Medagedara, and other well-known figures from the cultural sphere.
