Dr. Dhammika Patabandi assumed duties as the Minister of Environment at the ministry yesterday (19) afternoon.
He was elected with the highest number of votes from the Kegalle district in the parliamentary elections held on the 14th. He was sworn in as Environment Minister on the 18th in the morning of the President’s Secretariat in the presence of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
