Election monitoring organizations reveal that they are receiving complaints that some private sector organizations are not giving their employees the leave they should be given to vote according to the election law.
Complaints have been received that this situation exists in clothing stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and garment factories. Those employees should be given leave of a minimum of half a day to a maximum of three days, depending on the distance from the centre where they are registered for voting.
Many institutions have worked to implement it properly, but close attention is paid to certain institutions that need to heed the law.
