The Electoral Commission has issued a special gazette notice appointing Colombo Thanthrige Nishantha Perera as the Chairman of Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha and Wagoda Pathirage Sumith Chandana as the Vice Chairman.
The Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election was held on the 21st, and National People’s Power won the most wards.
