The Israeli Foreign Minister has confirmed that Hamas political leader Yahya Sinwar has been killed in Gaza. The Israeli army announced that three fighters were killed during operations in the Gaza Strip. One of the bodies was identified as Yahia Sinwar’s body. It has been stated in the foreign reports published earlier that Israel carried out DNA tests to identify the body.
Meanwhile, Lebanon’s Hezbollah organization has responded today (18) regarding the killing of Palestinian Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. They say it could lead to new access and further escalation of the conflict with Israel. Hezbollah also warned that the attacks against Israel will intensify.
Sinwar was identified as the main person who planned the attack on several areas of Israel on October 7, 2023.
