It is reported that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has signed the Gazette related to the dissolution of Parliament. Parliament is to be dissolved from midnight today (24).
President Anura Kumaara Dissanayake issued an Extraordinary Gazette announcing that the general election will be held on November 14, 2024, and nominations will be accepted from October 4 to 11.
The new Parliament is scheduled to convene on November 21.
