Anura, Ranil and Sajith, who have announced that they will run for the presidential election, have been challenged by TNA’s Jaffna Member of Parliament Attorney at Law MA Sumanthiran and Batticaloa District Member of Parliament Shanakyen Rasamanikkam.
In a press conference held yesterday (26) in Colombo, the two MPs said that the NPP leader Anura Dissanayake, SJB leader Sajith Premadasa and Ranil Wickramasinghe, who is said to be running as an independent candidate should hold a public debate on the same stage regarding fraud, corruption and financial crimes in the country.
They have also emphasized that the public should be allowed to ask questions from the participants during the debate. The two MPs have further declared that they are prepared to organize such a debate.
